Monday Morning Skate 10/26/2015

We have to start out the week by saying a huge thank you to our friend Tanya for including our Morning Skate Coffee in the gift basket at the Harvest Classic Women's Hockey Tournament in Boise.

Now to some of the game highlights from this past week.

The Fischtown Pinguins continue to sit in first place in the DEL2 standings after splitting their games this past weekend. Cody Lampl helped the Pinguins cruise to a 5-1 win over EC Bad Nauheim. Cody finished the game with 2 assists and a plus 3 rating.

The Pinguins second game of the week saw them face-off against the Ravensburg Towerstars. It was a rough game for the Pinguins as they were not able to slow down the Towerstars offense, losing the game 6-1. The Pinguins next game is against Heilbronner Falken October 30th.

It was a tough weekend for the Colorado College Tigers as they were shutout in both games against the one of the top teams in the country in the Boston College Eagles. The schedule doesn't get any easier for the Tigers as they host number 1 North Dakota next weekend at the Broadmoor World Arena. Here are the highlights from this past weekends games.
