Highlights: Lamps Picks Up Another 2 Points In Fischtown Pinguins 3-1 Win

MHH skills coach, Cody Lampl, picked up another 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) in the Fischtown Pinguins 3-1 win on Sunday over Wolfe Freiburg. That is now 8 points for Lamps in the last three games. With the DEL2 season winding down, the Pinguins currently sit in second place, 3 points back of the Bietigheim Steelers.

Cody Lampl and the Fischtown Pinguins came into the weekend looking to snap their 3 game losing streak which saw them drop from first place in the DEL2 standings into second. The weekend did not get off to a good start as the Pinguins lost 6-2 to ninth place SC Riessersee.

The Fischtown Pinguins have dropped to second place in the DEL2 standings after hitting their first rough patch of the season. The Pinguins sit 4 points back of the Bietigheim Steelers courtesy of their current 4 game losing streak. Here are some of the highlights from their recent games.

The Fischtown Pinguins cruised to a 4-0 win over 5th place Lowen Frankfurt yesterday in DEL2 action. Jerry Kuhn picked up the shutout in the Pinguins net, while Colorado College alum, Gabe Guentzel,  paced the offense with 2 assists. The Pinguins next game is tomorrow when they take on ESV Kaufbeuren. 

Monday Morning Skate 9/21/2015

Cody Lampl and the Fischtown Pinguins continue to sit atop the DEL2 standings after beating Dresdner Eislown 4-2 and losing in a shootout to EC Kassel Huskies 6-5 on the road. Lamps sat out the game on Sunday with what is being described as a "lower body injury". ICYMI here are the highlights from both games last weekend.
