Individual Video Review

The Why:

We’ve all spent countless hours working on our footwork and making sure our technical game is at the highest possible level. What really separates the best goalies as they keep advancing to the highest levels is how they are able to read the play.

Two time Stanley Cup Champion and our Director of Coaching, Curtis McElhinney, will help you see the game by teaching you how to effectively read the game in all situations, and give you a blueprint on what tactics you should be using in each situation.

By taking the guesswork out of your game we will give you the confidence and consistency that every elite goalie must have.

How to take the video:

When setting up the camera to record the game, we want it in a position so we can see either the blue line down or redline down of your goalies end. (example: Think of the view when you watch a NHL game on tv). This allows us to see the oncoming rush and best explain what the opposing teams different attack options are. The behind the net view is ok but it doesn’t allow us the most information to help you.

Clip & Send the Video:

For the sake of time, we ask that you clip the video into your goalies touches before sending it. This is basically every time your goalie touches the puck, makes a save or gives up a goal. If you need us to clip the video an extra charge may be applied.

Once your video is clipped you can connect with Curtis at Curtis@mountainhighhockey.com to setup your Zoom consultation.

Pricing :

Video review sessions cost $100 per consultation, which includes the game break down, video consultation and notes. A package of ten can be bought for $900.
